Veteran-owned and operated, Sunshine Farm was established in the summer of 2017, owners Michael and Ginger Kulpit opened Sunshine Farm on May 4, 2018. Retired Navy veteran Michael with a service connected disability and Air Force Veteran Ginger Kulpit retired and moved from Poulsbo in the summer of 2016, We purchased a home that included a garden and an orchard. That first year we were canning and freezing more than our friends and family could eat so we decided it was time to share our produce with our neighbors, our community, and the entire city of Spokane too! After we opened Sunshine Farm, we had our soil tested and turned to green manure to enrich our meadow with nitrogen and other healthy minerals. We have had less produce while we concentrated on maintaining healthy soil. Our focus on green manure and enriching our soil brings the optimal nutrient dense product to our consumers.
